Designed primarily for – and included with – our popular GRP centre ridge poultry exhaust chimneys, these backdraught shutters are fitted inside the roof chimney above the fan. Totally waterproof, rainwater is diverted onto the roof sheet or flashing and drains harmlessly away.

Ingress of light is also virtually eliminated. Unlike plastic versions, GRP mouldings are UV stable and will not become brittle with age, making it capable of withstanding anything the elements can throw at it.

A riveted stainless steel hinge & rod ensures a trouble-free life & ease of cleaning.

The shutter pictured is for the most common 710mm fan shafts, but we also manufacture GRP shutters for 630mm and 820mm exhaust fans along with several bespoke options.
