The pictures show part of a project we undertook on behalf of a marine interior company who needed some really robust under-floor shower trays as part of a major refit on a restored 1938 superyacht. The moulded-in GRP ‘upstands’ that you see in the trays were designed to support heavy polished granite slabs – so once fitted, the GRP parts were invisible and simply acted as a way to drain waste water away underneath the granite floors.
